2725458 - Release Billing Proposal or Manage Project Billing app missing hours (or expenses)

• App 'Release Billing Proposals' returns error "No expenditure items found" despite having employee hours posted on the project / WBS element.
• Some expenses do not appear in the billing proposal.
• Some hours don't show on Release Billing Proposals even though there are employee hours posted.
• Some hours don't show on the Manage Project Billing app even though there are employee hours posted.
• Some Expenses don`t show in Manage Project Billing app even thought the expenses are posted.

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Run app 'Release Billing Proposals'.
2. Select a Project and click 'Go'.
3. Try to 'Edit' the billing proposal.
4. System throws error "No expenditure items found".

• Errors occurred in the CATS transfer process.
• Incorrect/missing configuration.
• Material has not been maintained for Sales Organization.

In case this issue might be caused by an error in the CATS transfer process, check the following:

1. Firstly check app 'Display Transfer Issues Log' to ensure that there is no posting issue (errors) for the employee time recordings.
2. If there are any issues, these need to be resolved.
3. Execute the app 'Process Unposted Time Confirmations' (App ID CAT7) to repost them.

In case this issue might be caused by incorrect/missing configuration, check if the affected cost element(s) have been assigned to a cost element group relevant for billing. Release billing proposals will only pick up costs from cost elements belonging to cost element group YBPS_BILL or one of its subgroups. You can discuss such issues with your onsite SAP representatives, product expert or use the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Customer Community for assistance.

If you are using Manage Project Billing app please check if you have maintained the configuration in Configuration Step Maintain Project Billing Profile.

In case the sales organization is a custom one, please make sure the materials have been maintained for the sales organization.
