2725519 - Total Compensation - Number format rules for Variable Pay fields at the column level

Symptom

Assignment of number format for Variable Pay fields can no longer be made in the Design Worksheet/Column Designer.

Environment

SuccessFactors Compensation Management and Variable Pay

Resolution

The enhancement to align Variable Pay number formatting to Compensation within Total Compensation Template is included in the Q4 B1811 release. (CMP-15033)

This enhancement is to create consistency within Total Compensation Template by the following:

1. Remove the ability to define number formatting on the column level for fields on the Variable Pay tab. Removed the Format dropdown.

2. Introduce a new default percent type to be used only by standard fields on the Variable Pay tab to address the difference in how Variable Pay standard fields store data as real value versus whole number (i.e. "0.08" versus "8" for "8%")

Note: This enhancement will not extend the user-level number formatting for rateType or localCurrency from the Compensation tab to the Variable Pay tab.
