Symptom

You are reviewing an EWA for a HANA system and found the following message in the section for SAP HANA Network Settings for System Replication Communication:

  • File name: global.ini
  • Section: system_replication_hostname_resolution
  • Key: 192.168.0.10
  • Current Value: hanadb01
  • Comment: Parameter not required, IP address = net_publicname (M_HOST_INFORMATION)

In this case, hanadb01 with ip address 192.168.0.10 is the Primary system in the System Replication.
