2725675 - The Approval Status of the Opportunity reaches "Approval Not Started" Although the Conditions for the Approval are Met

An Approval Process was activated for Opportunities. When an Opportunity is updated and the conditions are met for its approval, the approval status of this Opportunity changes to "Approval Not Started".

The Approver is not notified.

In your approval process, you are also resorting to custom status in your Opportunities.

In the Business Configuration, the custom status for the Opportunity document type is not marked for approval, hence the action is not available.

You may make the related custom status (or standard status!) available for approval, so the Approval process finds no hindrance.

Business Configuration > Overview > find the Opportunities fine tuning object and open > find 'Custom Status'

Select each custom status and add the row below > enter the necessary data, including the check where needed for 'Submit for Approval'.

If that is not checked, the status does not allow to be submitted for approval.
