2725729 - Report Value Help is Missing Entries

Symptom

When opening the value help for a specific field from a report selection, you notice that one of the options are not available in the value help but it can be seen in the report data.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Business Analytics work center.
  2. Open any report.
  3. Click on the value help for any field.
  4. You notice that one of the options are missing.
  5. When running the report you can see the missing value.

Cause

The field in question is a free text field and in one of the entries you have used one of the following characters \ /;,.:-_()[]<>!?*@+{}="&#$~|.

These characters are not supported in the report value helps.

Resolution

Please avoid using these characters if you would like to use the entries as variables in a report.
