2725843 - .odt file format supported for CVs and cover letters - Recruiting Management

Symptom

  • Create a document using OpenOffice Writer and when you upload the document to Resume or Cover Letter Field you receive the following error message.
  • The file type of <FileName>.odt is not supported for CVs and cover letters.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Upload a file with the format .odt to resume or cover letter field.
  2. The following error message is received.

Cause

The file format .odt is not supported.

Resolution

Below are the list of supported format in recruiting.

  • DOCX

  • PDF

  • TXT

  • TIFF

  • JPG

  • BMP

  • GIF

Note: .zip and .rar files are not supported.
