2725923 - Extension Fields of Type Multivalued List do not work on Combined and Joined Data Sources

You created an extension field of type Multivalued List and added it to a basic data source, which is used in a combined or joined data source. Now you created a report on top of it but when you run it and want to show the field description it is not displayed in the report view. Instead you will see the code list or ID.

1. Go to work center Business Analytics, view Design Reports.
2. Show all and open report ABC (ABC stand for your custom report) based on data source CDE (CDE stands for a custom combined or joined data source).
3. Run the report and add your multivalued list extension field to the report view.
4. You will notice that it is displaying the ID but you are expecting to see the description.

This is the expected system behaviour. Extension fields of type multivalued list do not work on combined and joined data sources. It only works on the data sources in which the extension field was directly added.

If you create the report on top of the basic data source it will successfully display the description or ID.
