Is it possible to change the display format of a Date field in Canvas Report?

Changing the date format in Canvas Reports are possible by using Calculated Columns.

1. In the Calculated Column designer select the Date field to be modified;
2. Choose the Data Type Date and click on Edit Format;
3. Select Use Custom Format and enter the desired format e.g. MMddyyyy. With this feature you can remove dashes "-" or slashes "/" that usually come with the displayed date value.

Legend:
yyyy = Year (*not YYYY)
MM = Month (numeric)
MMM = Month (text abrv)
mm = time, minute

There is a Get Preview Values button which allows you to review the format before saving.

Note: It is not possible to change the time zone change within this functionality. It will continue from the user running the report.
