2726300 - Accrual Recalculation Does Not Work On Import Of Position Using SYNC Parameter

Symptom

Accruals are not recalculated when the recalculation fields are changed via position import using SYNC parameter.

Environment

Successfactors - Employee Central Time Off

Reproducing the Issue

  • A field (say Salary Grade) is set as Recalculation field in the Time Account Type. The field is also present in the Position object.
  • Import position by changing the Salary Grade field and also use the SYNC parameter to sync the value to the employee's Job Information.
  • Once the import is successful, the salary grade change is also synced to the employee's Job Information portlet.
  • Now navigate to Administer Time page and check if the accruals are recalculated for the particular time accounts. It is not recalculated.

Resolution

Update: Enhancement TIM-7526 has been rolled out with b1905 release. This is now working as expected.
