2726662 - SYBMULTBUF ERROR with "Message=No such file or directory" during dump/load - SAP ASE

Symptom

During concurrent loads/dumps, these errors may be reported:

Open Server Error: 16110.10.0: srv_select() was called with a bad select mask (no fds set) parameter
Backup Server: 1.28.2.93: Open Server routine bgd_chanready failed. See Backup Server error log for additional information.
...
SYBMULTBUF ERROR: Failed to open database info file /tmp/SYB_BACKUPxxxxxx. Code=2, Message=No such file or directory
SYBMULTBUF ERROR: Emulator interprocess communication failed with error state = 16, error code=32, system message=Broken pipe.
