A technical catalog can not be added into a PFCG role. On Fiori Launchpad Designer, the ID of the catalog is like: X-SAP-UI2-ADCAT:SAP_TC_*_BE_APPS:<System Alias>.
In PFCG, after trying to add the catalog SAP_TC_*_BE_APPS, the following message appears:
Catalog X-SAP-UI2-CATALOGPAGE:SAP_TC_*_BE_APPS does not exist
