Symptom
You are unable to upload a Cloud Data Source with more than 150 fields or 100,000 entries into C4C.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
-
Go to Administrator Workcenter
- Go to Transport Management in Target system
- Select the same request ID which is created in the Source system in which Cloud Data source is selected as Transfer content
- Double click on ID to open
- Actions>Activate
- Activation fails
- Transport logs shows error
Cause
There is a limit of maximum 150 fields and maximum of 100,000 data entries per payload for uploading Cloud Data Sources in C4C. The total limit of records which can be uploaded is 2 million, however please note that handling this data volume may result in lower performance of the data source or reports built on it.
Resolution
Make sure that the total data amount of your csv file meets the limits mentioned above, in 'Cause' section.
