2727190 - After LOAD DATABASE, database is smaller than size that was required - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • The LOAD DATABASE command raises error 3105 indicating destination database is too small, needs to be a larger size
  • Dump loads into the destination when it is increased to the specified size, but after load is done, the database is a smaller size
    Example 3015:
    Msg 3105, Level 16, State 4:
    Server 'ASE', Line 1:
    Data on dump will not fit into current database. Need 5000 Mbyte database.
