2727724 - Error Message : Mandatory account assigment for account is missing: Cost Center,Project Task

You are trying to creating a Manual Tax Entry for a G/L Account and you get an error: Mandatory account assigment for account (Account Number) - Use of private allowances (to be reported) is missing: Cost Center,Project Task

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Tax Management work center.
2. Go to Manual Tax Entries view.
3. Select VAT Entries.
4. Click on New Tax Entry.
5. Fill in the Company details.
6. Enter the G/L Account and Debit Net Amount/Credit Net Amount.
7. You get an error Mandatory account assigment for account 12345(Represents Account Number) - Use of private allowances (to be reported) is missing: Cost Center,Project Task

The reason you get the error message is because the Account Assignment Type is missing. you need to maintain the Account Assignment Type for the respective G/L Account.

1. Go to Personalization Mode.
2. Expand Account Assignment Type.
3. Check the Account Assignment Type checkbox.
4. Now this will appear in the main screen.
5. You need to mainatin the Account Assignment Type as Cost Center or Project Task.
6. Now the error should disappear.
7. In case if you see Cost center missing, Project Missing and Project Task missing error, kindly add these details.
8. Now you will be able to perform the required action.
