2727767 - Edit button is greyed out and Refresh button does not repond in EPM Add-in

Symptom

  • Edit button is greyed out and Refreh button does not respond in EPM Add-in although the users have sufficient authorization.
  • When a new EPM report is created, Refresh button and Edit button work fine. When the report is saved and re-opened from to local/server directory, the buttons no longer work.
  • An ActiveX control cannot be insertted with an error from Developer's Tab in Excel on the affected machine.
  • This issue does not occur on Excel 2010 machines.
