You would receive an application error when uploading compensation Information.
The application error would be accompanied by: Currency Code entered for this record does not exist in the application

Environment
Employee Central - Employee Data Import
Reproducing the Issue
- In Admin Center > Import Employee Data, for example, select Compensation
- Choose the ‘Full Purge’ or Incremental load option checkbox
- Validate Import File data
- Result: Total Records:1 Number of failed records:1 Number of records with warnings:01 [00101292, 01/07/2018,, Salaried,, UGA_1, DTAC,] : [The Currency Code entered for this record does not exist in the application.]
Cause
This is misconfiguration issue.
Currency are not be selected for the given Country
Case Example: Uganda
- Go to manage Data
- Country: Uganda
- View Currency: No Currency
Resolution
Example: Uganda
Step 1:
- Go to manage Data
- Currency: Uganda
- select Currency: Ugandan Shilling (UGX)
Step 2:
- Go to manage Data
- Country: Uganda
- Add Currency: Ugandan Shilling (UGX)
