You want to understand the meaning of the questions in Business Configuration:

1. Do you want realignment runs to remove territory assignments for accounts that, based on current rules, qualify for no territories?

Activating this feature, the system will remove the territories from accounts which does not meet the rules configured in the  "Define Rules for Territory Realignment" under Administrator. Please note that this can also affect the open documents related to the Account.

2. Do you want to determine the transaction's territory based on the document owner as well as the account?

Activating this question, you will be able to decide to "remove the current owner" while creating a realignment run, that means you can carry the new owner depending upon what you configured for Territories.

Observation: There is a logic behind while working with opportunity party re-determination scoping question, if no interaction is active and you are working with Multiple territories system configuration, the system will behave as following:

• The territory on the opportunity was assigned by Party Determination logic.
• The account of the opportunity is now assigned to multiple territories.

3.  Do you want to automatically re-determine opportunity parties based on changes to the account team of the account?

Party re-determination is then triggered upon changes to

•The territory team of territories
•The account team of accounts
•The territory assignment of accounts
