2728432 - Cannot import a Sybase function into Data Services datastore

Symptom

  • Cannot import a Sybase custom function using import by name in Data Services datastore.
  • Error:  "Cannot import the function <name=functionname>.  Stored procedure or function <functioname>  was not found in the source datastore.  (BODI-1112335)"
  • Can import stored procedures from Sybase ASE but not functions.
  • Can import functions from Microsoft SQL Server.
  • User defined functions cannot be imported into the data store.
