2729639 - Setting up vjdbc to work with Jaspersoft Studio on hybris Commerce Suite version 6.6

Symptom

After installing Jaspersoft Studio and configuring the JDBC connections to work with hybris, FlexibleSearch queries are not accepted while regular SQL queries work correctly.

Environment

This setup refers to hybris version 6.6 specifically, but can potentially apply to other versions as well.
