2730101 - Error: "Creation of Org. Center Assignment Not Possible; Loop in Org. Structure" While Migrating Organizational Units

Your requirement is to migrate the Organizational Units in your system. During the Simulation, system throws the below error:

"Creation of org. center assignment not possible; loop in org. structure"

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Implementation Projects view or the Overview.
3. Search and Open the migration activity Perform Organizational Structure Setup.
4. Select Import org structure using the migration tool.
5. Execute Migration for the respective Migration File.
6. You receive the error message mentioned during the Simulation step.

The parent ID for the record XYZ is assigned as XYZ which is incorrect. An Organizational Unit cannot be a parent of itself.

If you want an Organizational Unit to have no parent Organizational Unit, you have to leave the parent Organizational Unit field blank. Correct the data in the migration file and proceed with the migration.
