2731038 - You Cannot Download the Price List Upload Template

You download the Pricelist Upload Template, but you receive a file with 0 bytes.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Product and Service Portfolio workcenter.
2. Select the Price Lists view.
3. Click on Download.
4. Click on Download again.

The first file you are downloading is correct and the second file has 0 bytes and cannot be opened.

• This issue occurs if you download the file twice. The first download is correct, the second is as described.
• When you open the Price Lists view, the system buffer is updated with all the information that is downloaded.
• Once you download the file, the information is deleted from the buffer.
• In a second download, as the buffer is deleted, the file is 0 bytes.
• This is intended due to performance reasons.

1. Navigate to the Product and Service Portfolio workcenter.
2. Select the Price Lists view.
3. Click on Download.
4. Select another Price List type.
5. Select the original Price List type (e.g. Base Price List).
6. Click on Download.

When reopening the view, the buffer is reloaded and the file can be downloaded again.
