Symptom
The Compensation Statement does not reflect the most recent merit increase that an employee has received.
The Compensation Statement only shows his current salary and title, NOT his adjusted salary and promoted title.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core
- SuccessFactors Compensation
Reproducing the Issue
1. Launch a Compensation worksheet
2. Give an employee a merit increase
3. Move the form to Completed
4. Launch a second Compensation worksheet using the same employee
5. Provide the employee another merit increase
6. Move the form to Completed
7. Check the Statement in the Employee's Compensation Statement in Employee Profile - it shows the older values.
Cause
This happens when you launch two or more worksheets from the same compensation planning template.
The personal statement cannot determine which data to retrieve if there are duplicate worksheets.
Resolution
This is expected behaviour.
To avoid this from happening, please maintain separate compensation plan templates for multiple promotions/merit increases within the same calendar year.
For example:
maintaining templates for each quarter of each year, so that you can generate personal statements for a promotion in Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4, or have one for the first half of the year and another for the latter half. (or any combination possible).
