2732114 - Unable to Activate Apply with LinkedIn (AWLI) 2.0 - Recruiting

Symptom

When I try to enable LinkedIn integration I receive the following message in Integration Center:

"There seems to be a Problem, You need to be an admin of an offline contract with recruiter seats in order to access this page."

Environment

  • SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing (RMK)
  • SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM)

Resolution

According to the pre-requisites to activate AWLI 2.0 , the administrator user who sets up the LinkedIn account must have an account with recruiter permissions or a recruiter license for at least one of these LinkedIn products:

  1. LinkedIn Recruiter
  2. LinkedIn Job Slots

However, customers with ONLY LinkedIn Job Slots are being able to successfully configure AWLI Integration.

Workaround

Customers who are affected by this issue need to contact LinkedIn. LinkedIn will grant the LinkedIn user a temporary Recruiter seat so customers can go in and set up the integration. Once the customer has done that, they need to let LinkedIn know and they will change the user’s seat back to their original.

Please note that there's no impact to the customer once the integration is enabled using the workaround. AWLI will work as expected for Candidates.
