2732164 - Item certificate of completion template precedence

What is the item certificate of completion template that is going to be used by the system to be printed out for the user?

The system will follow the below precedence at the moment the item certificate of completion is going to be generated:

• The certificate template set at the item level.
• If the Item has Class and Class has a certificate template then it will override the Certificate Template configured at the Item level i.e. The Certificate template at the class level will be printed out for the user.
• The certificate template set in the Global Application Settings, "Default Certificate Template for Items".
• The certificate template, under the "Published" status, in the Reports section, with the "Certificate Of Completion History Record (User)" name.

• Curricula do not have certificate as its completion status is tracked based on items included. 
• Refer to "KBA 3010230 - What Makes a Curriculum Complete or Incomplete" to understand curriculum completion status.
