2732591 - Code List Restriction Default Value does not work when adding Involved Parties in a Lead

Symptom

You want to use a default value when adding Involved Parties in a Lead; however the Code List Restriction does not set the default value, the field is blank by default.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

Prerequisite: a valid Code List Restriction for Leads and Code to Restrict = Party Role with a specific default value.

  1. Go to the Sales workcenter.
  2. Go to the Leads view.
  3. Open any Lead.
  4. Go to the Involved Parties facet.
  5. Click Add.

Result: The field Role is blank by default.

Cause

Code List Restrictions are only designed to work for Quick Create screens, Advanced Search and for Header items. Default values do not work for Add Screens.

Resolution

This is the expected behaviour. Please select the desired value from the drop down menu.
