2732791 - [CO] Rounding issues in Colombian Payroll and PILA report

Symptom

SAP Payroll application for Colombia follows the determination of Decree 1990/2016 regarding the rounding of Social Security bases (IBCs) and contributions:

  • The bases are rounded to the closest upper integer.
  • The contributions are rounded to the closest upper hundred.

Different scenarios involving absences or novelties in general can result in incorrect rounded values, either in the Social Security calculation in Payroll (COSSS and COSSA functions) or in the output generated by PILA report.

This documentation brings a list of the most recent correction notes related to rounding errors. It will be updated regularly to include new notes released by the Development Team.
