Send welcome e-mail is grayed out when trying to perform an Employee Import.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Go to Admin Center
2. Employee Import
3. Send welcome e-mail to new users
4. Then the tend welcome e-mail to new users is grayed out and cannot be selected.

Send welcome e-mail to new users is grayed out because Welcome Message Notification with Reset Password Support is disabled in E-Mail Notification Template settings.

An enhancement is made to the Send welcome e-mail to new users option when importing employees. If you want to send welcome e-mail to new users, you must enable the welcome e-mail template beforehand. If you haven't done that, a warning is displayed to remind you. (see below)

The Warning: Currently the Welcome E-mail is not active. If you would like to send Welcome Emails to new users, please activate it in the:

1. E-Mail Notification Templates Settings
2. Enable the checkbox Welcome Message Notification with Reset Password Support.
