• Unable to refresh or reload story automatically in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) mobile app
• When the story is opened in mobile app, the page won't be refreshed automatically even Configuring Auto Refresh in Story
• When the story is opened once, the previous result which you saw before will be shown when re-opening the story

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2019.2.0
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) mobile app 2.29.1

1. Log on to SAC tenant.
2. Create a story with Responsive page and add a chart based on one live model.
3. Add a Text component and then Add Dynamic Text as Current Time.
   => It shows as "<hour>: <minute>", and will be refreshed every minute.
4. From Data section on the story toolbar main menu, select Refresh and then select Configure Auto Refresh to Enable Auto Refresh in 1 minute.
   => The chart based on Live model will be refreshed every minute to retrieve latest data.
5. Save the story. 
6. Log onto the SAC tenant from mobile app and then open the story.
   => Both the text to show current time and the story to show data from live model won't be refreshed automatically every minute.
   => To show the latest time and data, it is necessary to refresh it manually.
7. Close the story and then re-open the story again.
   => Both the text and the chart will show previously generated result (basically what you saw last time).
   => To show the latest time and data, it is necessary to refresh it manually.

• It is by design.
• Auto Refresh configuration in story is not supported in mobile app. It means that while opening the story, the data won't be refreshed automatically in mobile app.
• Meanwhile, after opening the story to load the data in mobile app at the first time, any chart or story loaded and actions are cached by default on the device for 7 days to support offline mode. So if you open the story again, the cached data will be shown.

• To reload the story in each open action, turn on Automatically Refresh option in the Settings tab of the mobile app.
• This option will however not automatically refresh the data while opening, only re-renders the Story from scratch using cached data. 
  
  Workaround:
  1. Enable the Automatic refresh option above
  2. Load a Story
  3. Double-click on the Home button (or swipe from bottom up) to access the app switcher / multitasking tray
  4. Swipe up on the SAC App and reopen it.
  5. Open the Story, it will now get the data from the server.
