2733469 - Sales Order Volume Chart Shows Different Net Value Than Details View

Symptom

You run the Sales Order Volume report to get the total Net Value in details, while changing the view into chart, the total Net Value changes to a bigger value.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sales Orders work center.
  2. Go to Reports view.
  3. Open report Sales Order Volume and click Apply to run the report.  The default view at this moment is Sales Order Volume Details. In the result line, the total Net Value is displayed as 123. (123 represents the amount of Net Value).
  4. From View list, select Sales Order Volume Chart.

In the chart, the Net Value shows 789 (789 represents the amount of Net Value).

Cause

There is a condition added in the report details view, for example, condition is set to show Top10 Accounts. However, Chart view shows all the customer data.

Resolution

This is currently the system design.  In future release, the Chart will call this value filter as well.
