Symptom

  • Error after logging in and selecting repository with Data Services Designer
  • Error while adding/synchronizing repo with job server in Data Services Server Manager
  • Error while connecting to Microsoft SQL Server with Data Services Repository Manager
  • ERROR:ODBC call<SQLDriverConnect> to connect database ... failed with error <ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> for data source <....> failed: <[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB][SSL Security error [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionOpen (SECCreateCredentials()).>.Notify Customer Support> Use the ODBCDriver Selector (Windows) or DSConnectionManager.sh (UNIX) utility in LINK DIR/bin to configure the correct version of the dirver. If the problem still exist after selecting the correct version of the dirver. notify Customer Support. (BODI-1112172)
