Symptom
You migrate Equipment Resources using the migration template. In this template, you maintain "418 - Shift Program" in the column Active Operating Time Type. However, after the migration, the system defaultes this to "422 – Operating Time", and when you try to change this in the application, the system throws the error message: "Changing the time type not possible; delete the maintained data first".
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign

- Navigate to the Implementation Projects view.
- Select the relevant Implementation Project and click the Open Activity List button.

- Click the Open button, to open the Migration tool.
- Find and select the relevant Source File ABC (ABC represents the Name of the Source file).
- Open the file ABC by clicking the Hyperlink.

- You can see that Operating Time Type is defaulted to "Operating Time" and when you change it to "Shift Program", you get the error message: "Changing the time type not possible; delete the maintained data first".
