2734013 - Sybase IQ multiplex server did not start after running out of space and crashing - how can it be restarted? - SAP IQ

Symptom

IQ will not boot after running out of space. There are no backups, how can IQ be recovered? Errors seen on bootup are:

I. 12/13 12:03:11.     Transaction log: iqmpx_C.log...
I. 12/13 12:03:15. Invalid transaction log (id=2, page_no=0x00042433, offset=0x0fd2): page type or id is invalid
E. 12/13 12:03:15. Error: Database cannot be started -- iqmpx_C.log is an invalid transaction log
