2734842 - Attributes Not Available in OData Query

You are expecting a particular attribute of a characteristic to be available for use to build OData Queries.

1. Go to the Business Analytics work center.
2. Go to Design Reports.
3. Select the desired report.
4. Click on Build OData Queries.
5. Search for any specific attribute in Attributes/Filters tab. You will notice that the particular attribute is not available.

If an attribute is simply added via option "Add Fields to Rows" report view, it won't be available for use via OData. For attributes to be available for use via OData, we have to add that particular attribute via Add Field option.

Here you can see the 2 different options:

1. Go to the Business Analytics work center.
2. Go to Design Reports.
3. Search for the desired report and open it.
4. Execute the report once.
5. Click on the Configure Icon.
6. Click on Add Fields.
7. Add that specific attribute to be displayed in the report and click OK.
8. Go back to Design Reports.
9. Click on Build Odata Queries. You will find that the desired attribute is now available in Attributes/Filters tab and use it for building OData Queries else you can generate metadata query and check the available fields.
