Symptom
When attempting to add a MS SQL Server connection in SAC the following error is displayed:
ERROR_CONNECT_TO_C4A
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Reproducing the Issue
- From the main SAC menu select "Connections".
- On the Connections screen click the "+" icon (Add Connection) in the top right corner.
- From the dropdown menu that will be presented, select "SQL Databases".
- The error will display at the bottom of the screen.
Cause
The datasource has not been configured for use by SAC.
