2735005 - Addidng SQL server connection to SAC results in the message: ERROR_CONNECT_TO_C4A

Symptom

When attempting to add a MS SQL Server connection in SAC the following error is displayed:

Environment

 SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. From the main SAC menu select "Connections".
  2. On the Connections screen click the "+" icon (Add Connection) in the top right corner.
  3. From the dropdown menu that will be presented, select "SQL Databases".
  4. The error will display at the bottom of the screen.

Cause

 The datasource has not been configured for use by SAC.
