2735337 - Test User from Logon As Another User Shows Different Information than Source Business User

You created a test user to mirror information from another business user in the system; however you notice that the test user system information displayed is different from the source business user (for example, work centers, query results, and so on). Since the Logon as Another User feature description is "the test user has the same page layouts, data access, or query results as the business user" you expected as such.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Logon with the test user ABC (where ABC is a test user created using the Login as Another User feature) that is mirroring the information from business user DEF (where DEF is the source business user for ABC).
2. Click in the Customers work center.
3. Select the Accounts view (we will use accounts as example, but it can be any other work center view).
4. Select the search query "All".

You notice that the results of this query are different when doing the steps 1-4 with DEF user.

The business user DEF accesses have changed after the creation of the test user ABC.

You need to remove the current test user information and create a new one.

1. Go to the Administrator work center.
2. Select the General Settings view.
3. Click in the Logon as Another User hyperlink.
4. Highlight the test user ABC line definition.
5. Click in the Remove button.
6. Click in the Save button.
7. Click in the Add Row button.
8. Fill in the required information to re-create ABC mirroring DEF.
9. Click in the Save button.
