How to provide view access for ESS permission role for Recurring Deductions?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
In this system, the Employee Self Service Role only provides view access to Pay Component - X. But all the employees are able to press the edit button on the deduction portlet, and save it.
Cause
Incorrect RBP permissions granted
Resolution
Kindly disable all the permissions under Recurring Deductions other than View permission.
Follow the below navigation steps
Manage permission roles -> Choose a role (ESS) -> Click on "Permission" button -> miscellaneous permissions -> Recurring deduction -> Just give "View" access -> Save it.
