Taking few examples to show the difference.
For 1028, 30 days from Invoice Date, End of month:
We first go to 30 days from invoice date and then we go to end of month of this date to find the due date. Below are some examples:
-
If Invoice date = 01/12/2018 then, 30 days from invoice = 30/12/2018 End of month of this date = 31/12/2018 So, Due date = 31/12/2018
-
If Invoice date = 02/12/2018 then, 30 days from invoice = 31/12/2018 End of month of this date = 31/12/2018 So, Due date = 31/12/2018
-
If Invoice date = 03/12/2018 then, 30 days from invoice = 01/01/2019 End of month of this date = 31/01/2019 So, Due date = 31/01/2019
For 1029, End of Month of Invoice Date, 30 days:
We first go to the end of month of that invoice date and then add 30 days to it to get the due date. Below are some examples:
-
If invoice date = 01/12/2018 End of Month of Invoice Date = 31/12/2018 30 days from this date = 30/01/2019 So, Due date = 30/01/2019
-
If invoice date = 02/12/2018 End of Month of Invoice Date = 31/12/2018 30 days from this date = 30/01/2019 So, Due date = 30/01/2019
-
If invoice date = 03/12/2018 End of Month of Invoice Date = 31/12/2018 30 days from this date = 30/01/2019 So, Due date = 30/01/2019
