Manage business configuration is throwing error : "Object does not have children"

SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Business Configuration
2. System is not displaying any elements. It is shows a message "Object does not have children"

This is a defect ,engineering is working on a fix

Follow below steps to resolve this issue. This requires access to Provisioning. Reach out to support if you do not have Provisioning access.

1.Download the Succession Data Model---->Save a back up

2.Open data model ---->Search with keyword view-template id=

3.Comment out all the view template id sections except view-template id="sysUserDirectorySetting"

Below is the screenshot from my demo system.Its a collapsed view which shows 5 view template id's. Comment out all except sysUserDirectorySetting.

4.Perform below changes in  sysUserDirectorySetting template

Search view-template id="sysUserDirectorySetting"

Scroll bit down and find the edit template section.There will be many edit sections within this template. Comment out all the edit sections.

3.Save and upload the updated data model

4.Then upload the back up data model

5.Download CSF data model and re-upload it

6.Check monitor jobs whether the synchronize business configuration job completed
