2736388 - How to enable the Analysis Add-In after system crash

When opening Analysis for Microsoft Excel or Microsoft PowerPoint, the below message pops up:

"The launcher was not able to connect Analysis Add-In. Make sure that Analysis Add-In is not disabled by Office Appication"

And the Analysis Add-In is not visible in the menu.

• SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office

1. Start MS Excel

2. Confirm that Analysis Office is available in the installed programs in the machine

3. Confirm Analysis and Analysis Design tab are missing

Analysis Add-In has been disabled.

When Microsoft Excel or Microsoft PowerPoint crashes, below message pops up:

"Excel is running into problems with the 'analysis' add-in. If this keeps happening, disable this addin-in and check for available updates. Do you want to disable it now?"

If click "Yes", the Analysis Add-In will be disabled by the Microsoft application. To avoid Analysis Add-In being disabled, it is recommended to click "No".

Renable the Analysis Add-In in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft PowerPoint.

1. Choose File in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft PowerPoint.
2. In Microsoft Excel, press Excel Options. In Microsoft PowerPoint, press PowerPoint Options.
3. In the Excel Options dialog box and in the PowerPoint Options dialog box in the categories pane, select Add-Ins.
4. In the Manage box, select Disabled Items.
5. Press Go....
6. In the Disabled Items dialog box, select the Analysis Add-In.
7. Press Enable.
   
8. In the Manage box, select COM Add-Ins.
9. Press Go....
10. In the COM Add-Ins dialog box, make sure that Analysis option is activated.
11. Press OK.
