2737135 - Answer Text Missing in the Data Source Visit Survey Answer

You are using the data source Visit Survey Answer (QREVQVVISITHJ) and you notice that for some questions, the field Answer Text shows no data even though answers were provided.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the work center Business Analytics, view Design Data Sources.
2. Search for the data source Visit Survey Answer and click on Preview.
3. In the selection, enter the respective visit or survey ID.
4. Add the characteristics Question Number and Answer Text to the view.

For some questions, there is no answer text even though there are answers in the survey.

The same will happen in any report that uses this data source.

These questions are of the type Multiple Choice. They do not have an answer text, but an answer description.

Please add the characteristic Answer Description to the view.

If you have only added a question description in 1 language in the survey, the answer description will only be shown in the data source if you logon in that language. So it is recommended that while designing the survey, you add the question descriptions in all languages that are relevant for your system.
