2737293 - Approve Button is Not Shown in Approvals Work Center View for Manual Customer Invoice Task

Symptom

You are the responsible person to process an approval task for manual customer invoices. In your Approvals work list, you are not able to find the Approve or Send Back for Revision button. You have to open the approval task to see the buttons.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Manage My Area work center.
  2. Go to the Approvals view.
  3. You can see a list of approval tasks assigned to you.
  4. Select a task for Approval Manual Customer Invoice, you are not able to find Approve or Send Back for Revision button. While select another approval task for i.e. Sales Quote, the Approve and Send Back for Revision are shown.
  5. Select the task for Approval Manual Customer Inovice again, click Edit and open the approval task details. You are now see the Approve and Send Back for Revision button.

 

Cause

This is currently the system design.

Resolution

You need to open the approval task and then perform Approve or Send Back for Revision Action.
