Symptom

  • When creating a Purchase Requisition (PR) with the Flexible Workflow feature in S4, getting the following dump when releasing the PR in t-code ME54N:

Category:         ABAP programming error
Runtime Errors:   OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED_NO
Except.:          CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL
ABAP Program:     CL_RELEASE_STATE_MM===========CP / SAPLMEREQ

  • When viewing the PR from ME52N or ME53N, it is noticed that there is no release tab in the PR.
