2737602 - Could not open app errors in Launchpad on SCP

Symptom

When opening apps in SAP Cloud Platform(SCP) Fiori Launchpad, the user receives "Could not open app" and the following errors may be noticed via browser console:

  • TypeError: oFrom.getApplicationType is not a function
  • TypeError: B.getApplicationType is not a function
    at d.onAfterNavigate (https://sapui5.hana.ondemand.com/1.58.6/resources/sap/fiori/core-min-0.js:108:5093)
    ...
