2737718 - Data Duplication in Production Supply Task Extension Field

You have created an extension field in the line Line Item table of the production supply task. When a value is entered in the extension field you see that the same value is getting copied to extension field of other line items also.

1. Go to Production Control work center.
2. Navigate to the Task Control view.
3. Search and select the relevant supply task for which the information in extension field needs to be entered.
4. Choose the Confim button.
5. In the Line Items tab of the supply task enter a value, eg: ABC (ABC represents the value you enter) in the extension field available in the Items table of the task against one of the line items.
6. You see that this value gets copied to all the line items in the supply task item table.

This issue occurs due to a technical limitation in the system.

The extenison field should be created not in the Line Items table of the supply task but in the Product Details section available under the General sub-tab of the same screen. When you create the extesnion field you will see two entries for the field Selected Business Context both of the them will have the value Production Lot - Output Product. You should select the second value and continue with creation of the extension field.
