Symptom
Emplyee Information(Personal Information/Email Information/Phone Information/Home address) updated in offboarding process does not write back to Employee Central
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding/Offboarding
Reproducing the Issue
- Terminate a user from the Employee Central
- Complete the Offboarding Activity and change the employee information(Personal Information/Email Information/Phone Information/Home address)
- Check Employee Central data was not updated ( Expected behavior: Newly updated information should writeback to Employee Central)
Resolution
Backend Access is needed i.e. provisioning and Super admin.
- Check Super Admin>Feature/SF_Notifications>Option "Offboarding FinishStep message" must be turned on
- Check Provisioning>Company Settings > “Enable Offboarding Application” and “Enable Offboarding EC Writeback-requires "Employee Central V2"” options must be turned on
- Check Onboarding>Settings>Audit Trail to find event “Code”= “SF_INTEGRATION” and “SourceInst” = “FinishStep”
- If you see Status : Success” that means writeback works properly
- If you don’t see any event “Code”=“SF_INTEGRATION” nor “SourceInst” = “FinishStep”, please go to Super Admin> Import/Export Settings > Debug Instance Specific Configuration>download the file “Account_{ONB AccountId}.xml.messages” and check the message type “FinishStep” contained in the xml.message or not, if not, create an case for SAP support to check and restore the file.
