2738365 - Job History Import error: This operation has led to unique key constraint violation. Please check your data. - Employee Central

When performing Job History Import the file is validated successfully without errors and system accept the import, but when looking at the Monitor Job the status of the import is Failed.

In the Download status the following error occurs in the Job Information records:

• Employee Data Import

1. Go to Admin Center
2. Search/Find Import Employee Data
3. Select Select an entity: Job History
4. Select Purge Type: Full Purge
5. Pick the file on Choose File tab
6. Then Validate Import File Data / Import (No error occurs)
7. Go to Admin Center
8. Search/Find Monitor Job
9. Find the JobInfo_Import Job and Download Status
10. Job Information records/rows will show in the Error tab: This operation has led to unique key constraint violation. Please check your data.

A rule is being triggered on Job Information and have wrong configuration, please check the example below:

Rule is setting Job Information Model.Job Information, this is wrong configured rule according the rule base object.

Remake/adjust the rule with the correct configuration respecting the base object of the rule:

1. Go to Admin Center
2. Search/Find Configure Business Rules
3. Search/Find the rule that is wrong configured in Job Information
4. Select Insert New Record or Take Action -> Make Correction
5. Change the base object of the rule. (As above example the correct is Job Information instead of Job Information Model)
