2738409 - Failed to start RMI Connector server.

Symptom

  • After installation, Sybase Control Center (SCC) could not be started.
  • The agent bootstrap thread logs error messages such as the following in the agent.log file:

Failed to register RMI Service. Failed to start RMI Connector server.
Cannot bind to URL [rmi://ServerName:9999/agent]: javax.naming
