2738621 - SSL Security error ConnectionOpen (SECCreateCredentials())

Symptom

  • You are performing an installation or uninstallation on Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM)
  • In Define Parameters, you come across the following error:

    Cannot connect to <database server>
    Error(s) returned:
    SSL Security error ConnectionOpen (SECCreateCredentials()).
    SOLUTION: Check that you specified the correct name for the database server, that the server is running and you are authorized to log on to it.
