2739460 - Cards are not loading content on the Latest People Profile

• Some or most cards fail to load on the Latest People Profile
• The card continues loading even after extended waiting
• Even when a card loads, the Edit screen may remain stuck in a loading state
• The issue is typically company-wide or affects a significant number of users

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Prerequisite: Enable the Latest People Profile feature

1. Navigate to any user’s profile.
2. Observe that some or most cards do not load content.
3. The card continues loading, and content does not appear even after waiting.
4. If the issue affects a user, the same behavior can be observed on any user’s employee profile.
5. If a user is not affected, the issue is not reproducible, even when proxying as one of the affected users.

• An internal IT blocker prevents card content from loading.
• In rare cases, a data issue may also cause this problem.

To validate that an internal IT blocker is causing the issue:

1. Open your browser’s Developer / Inspect Tools and go to the Network tab.
2. Reload the Latest People Profile page.
3. Look for any blocked Card Name in the Network tab (these will appear in red).
4. Click on Preview for the blocked request.
5. You may see errors such as:
   • "Sorry, you don't have permission to visit this site."
   • "Website blocked"
   • "Not allowed to access this file type"

Resolution:

• Contact your company’s IT Team and share the error messages above.
• It may be helpful to export the Network logs and provide them to the IT Team for reference.

To address potential block-related data issues:

1. Navigate to Configure Latest People Profile.
2. Create a new card from scratch and save it.
3. If the new card loads successfully, the previous problematic card can be deleted.
