Symptom

When performing an 'alter database log off' command, the following message is reported and the shrink operation fails:

1> alter database <DBNAME> log off <DeviceName>
2> go
Msg 5055, Level 16, State 1:
Server '<Servername>', Line 1:
You cannot remove %d log pages (%d MB) from the database '%.*s' because the amount of free log space remaining (%d pages, %d MB) would fall below last chance threshold (%d pages, %d MB).
